About
Hi! I'm Aaquib Javed Khan, a Senior Software Engineer (L64) at Microsoft, Hyderabad, where I design and build high-scale backend systems. I specialize in distributed systems, microservices architecture, and backend engineering with a focus on reliability and performance.
My primary tools are Java and Kotlin, and I work extensively with Spring Boot, Azure cloud infrastructure, and container orchestration with Kubernetes. I'm deeply interested in system design, concurrency, and the nuances that separate good software from great software.
Outside of work, I enjoy writing about software engineering — sharing what I learn from the trenches of building at Microsoft scale. I believe in writing code that's not just functional, but readable, maintainable, and built to last.
